The little things that are going right

I'm trying to focus on some of the "little things" that are going well. Here are a few good ones...
-- At this conference in DC next week, we have to wear company T-shirts. I just got mine and it actually fits me well!
-- I don't need to bring my birth control pills on the plane. Next week is the "placebo" week so I don't need to take them. (Um, yeah. So the downside is that I'll actually *have* my period at the conference. But usually it's pretty really light since I've been on Seasonique)
-- I facilitated a book discussion at work last week, and it went well. Despite the fact that my co-facilitator dropped out and didn't do any of the tasks that were assigned to her. But everything went peachy.
-- Am planning a Girls Night Out with a few friends. The 4 of us haven't gotten together for a while.
-- The event that I wrote about on Sept 17 (my coworkers wanting to acknowledge Doris's and my exchange of rings at a meeting) went very nicely. I spoke a bit and was brief and funny, people laughed, all went well. If any of the not-so-cool coworkers were ticked about it, they didn't show it. Before the meeting, the 5 or 6 really nice people in the department came in early and offered me congratulations.
And a few bigger items that are going nicely too -
-- Doris wants to write down our vows and discuss what being a partner to each other means. (This is a watershed here; she's totally *not* into doing this sort of thing! I am though.)
-- Next weekend, I get to see Denisia and it's Jem Con!
