And more gratitude

 
This first one I have to post here even though everyone reading this probably has already heard me frothing at the mouth over it.

- Sachin is on Cameo!!! And he's donating the proceeds to a nonprofit that is helping India!! And he told me in his first Cameo to me that he did this (getting on Cameo) largely because I encouraged him to do it! (Okay, I will tone down the exclamation points now). Both of the cameos he did for me were long and really, really good. He was so sweet and nice in them. He remembered me from the con back in Jan 2020 and the 2 virtual cons he did since then. (Oh, and we used to interact on Twitter too, so there's that). And he implied that he has some acting stuff in the works. And he is just so kind and positive. My only problem is deciding how many cameos I can order without coming across as a nutbag.

What else? Many other good things

- One more fan thing before I go on. I mentioned in my last post that my favorite actor from Spartacus (named Antonio) doesn't have a social media presence. A fellow fan on Discord tracked down his IG! I didn't see it before because it looks like he uses a slightly different spelling of his name at different times. His IG is good. I did send him a note via IG but I cannot expect a response. (Like Sachin has met me at cons whereas Antonio doesn't know me from Adam. He did used to interact with fans at cons a lot in the past and seemed to enjoy it tho. So maybe he'd want to interact?)

- Since the batch cooking on Sunday, I made a new recipe from Forks Over Knives and it is so good! It doesn't sound like much. It's basically sweet potatoes and brown rice and shredded cabbage and grapes in a sauce consisting of soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime, and cilantro. You can top it with peanuts. It was amazing and filling.

- My back doesn't hurt as much. Monday and Tuesday it was terrible.

- I did textbanking with DFA yesterday. I'd say they weren't anywhere near as well-organized as what I used to do with Indivisible. But it was pretty good and pretty painless, and they have tons more sessions coming up.

- Someone asked me a question about my latest fanfic. It was a great question. I LOVE it so much when readers are engaged with it

- I donated my refund from the convention. I decided to split it between 2 causes. One was Urban Growers Chicago, and the other was to a fund that is working to keep the House in Dems' hands.
