Conclusive proof that I'm strange

Had a fun day in Chicago with Doris and friends on Saturday. We're in the taxi going from the place where we had drinks to the place we were going to have dinner, and we are stopped at a corner where there's a fitness center. I love fitness centers in the middle of the busy city. These huge glass windows all steamy from people working out, and you can look in and kind of see people working out. I commented on how much I enjoy that. It was pointed out to me that that is weird.

I guess it's just that I love exercising so much and I also enjoy watching other people do it.

i don't understand the excitement in watching them, but then i also don't enjoy watching people in their houses when it's night and their curtains are open, which i know you also enjoy. maybe its a voyeur thing. i'm only interested in looking if they're doing something naughty. exercise != naughty :)

It's not weird at all. When I was in Chicago I was so thrilled to see so many people exercising and I commented on it a lot. Maybe if you like to stay healthy you can't help but enjoy watching others taking care of themselves.

I think that's exactly it! I got the gym and I like to see others taking care of themselves, and I think they all look good whether they have large bodies or small ones or somewhere in between.
