X-men party!

Yesterday I had my party to celebrate 10 years of being an X-men fan! It was a small party with just my partner Doris and friend
nytshd3 over.
We didn't have anything too grand on the agenda. We just planned to watch either an X-men movie or some XTAS episodes, and then merge into what we normally do which is play board games. Part of me kinda wanted to do more but couldn't think of much. (Wear costumes? Don't have the time or skill to make costumes. Invite a ton of X-men fans over? Don't know any in real life).
So I see
nytshd3 approaching our house from where she parked. She's carrying cup cake trays. She gets inside and lays them out on the counter. She made....X-men cupcakes!

I was too touched for words. That she took the time to make them, to lovingly decorate them with cool little touches for each character. That she spiced up our 10 year celebration!
More under the cut.

What else did we do? We watched two episodes of XTAS: Beauty and the Beast and X-Ternally Yours. We then watched X-men III which I'd wanted to see again despite its faults. (Love Kelsey Grammar as Beast and Dania Ramirez as Callisto, and Storm had a more important role here too!). Two funny moments. In "X-Ternally Yours", there's a character that comes by every 10 years, so we had to laugh when she said she was back after 10 years....given that it's been 10 years of my being an X-men fan. (Get it? He, he). And X-men III also has a scene which it tells us takes place "10 years ago".
Maybe you had to be there for that. But we laughed.

Except I see either you're not into RoLo or maybe you're a stickler for canon. :)
