Azazel/Riptide fics

My icon should say “insane and proud”.

Just to sum up then, the pairing I ship and write about from X-men First Class has a combined total of four lines and is visible in the movie for what cannot be longer than a combined total of 20 minutes. And yet I’ve written and posted:

- 9 fics

- 1 drabble and 1 ficlet

- 3 smutfics

- 2 crack!fics

- 3 other anon pieces I posted to fill prompts on the kink memes


Plus I have two other fics that are ready to go; they're at two different beta testers, and I have another WIP that I started today.

I am forced to maintain a Word file just for myself so I can keep track of this.

I’ve been known to get fannish about stuff before but I gotta say that this is weird, even for me.

And...I guess it's good that I can't draw?

I do truly love how First Class has energized this fandom. It is awesome!

Drabbles are cool. In the past, I've always preferred longer fics but it is good to push yourself too.

*giggles* it's always good to be inspired, I tell you ;D Better to have too many plotbunnies tan having no plotbunnies!

I actually have a couple of ideas for drawings, but no inspiration... which sucks. I managed to write 5000 of my fic for a challenge and I'm taking a next break. I'm sticking to maing icons so far...

Very true. Too much inspiration is definitely better than too little.

Making icons is a great form of being creative! So there you go.

If I could make icons, I would so totally:
- Grab a shot of Azazel with the captain hat and Riptide in the pool boy shorts. Do that thing that somehow people do where it switches from one image to another, and label them Captain and Pool Boy
- Ditto the above but using shots where they wear the headsets, and label it "Phone Sex" or "1960's Phone Sex"

So true. I don't quite get why though, other than perhaps I like the whole 'men of mystery' thing.
