When I was in high school, I liked the quote from Edgar Lee Masters: "It takes life to love life." I interpreted it to mean that the bad times help you appreciate the good times and you need a bit of both.

Like I sure appreciate the 17 days in a row I had off from work...now that I'm back in the grind today!

I try to be grateful for what I have with my job. And I try to tell myself that I'd be bored if I were at home all day.

Though I sure am enjoying the Biggest Loser marathon that Doris and I are doing.

First time I had the house to myself in Mesa, I had a Viva La Bam marathon. Most recent marathon's I have had were Star Wars: Clone Wars with Ron, and Torchwood.

Great! Can I ask you something? I once filled a prompt anonymously, but because I only ever posted it to the kink meme page, the fill is in multiple parts and kinda disjointed to read. I'd like to post it and claim it since I wrote it...but I'm not sure it's good enough. If I sent it to you, could you tell me honestly what you think of it?

one of the nice things about being off around the holidays is that, tho there's always something going on, things tend to be quieter and fewer people are around, so it's not like taking time off in the middle of the year when just a week off can leave you totally swamped. how was it going back?
