1. Had lunch with my former boss Dave. We always have such a good time. We talked about our company moving downtown, which we both are excited about but it seems most folks are not. We talked politics. He said he'd be glad to have me back on his team someday.


2. Enjoying the movie "Lion". The book it's based off of was awesome.

3. I stayed awake at yesterday's evening meeting. (More political/community work). There's another meeting tonight (different committee). Not sure if I'll be awake enough or not, we'll see!

I still need to see/read Lion - it sounds like such an amazing story. And a true story, too! I know we have it at the library, just need to get to it on my list.

I loved the book and bawled in the best way during it. Then did it again watching the movie.

I really loved it. FYI, the book was called "A Long Way Home" by Saroo Brierley with Larry Buttrose.
