Is it just me, or is there a lot less "good" discussion on
fireflyfans lately? It seems like it used to have more "meaty" posts, where people would discuss the episodes, characters, motivations, themes, etc. (In fact, I met
rivendellrose through an insightful post she made regarding roles for women on Firefly). Lately it seems
fireflyfans has been lacking that kind of dialog.

Maybe I'll start a discussion on the plot points that we'd like wrapped up in Series II/Movie the Sequel, like for me the big one - what is going on with Blue Sun?.... (damn, I'll have to watch the BDM again. Shame.)

Date: 2006-09-28 11:12 am (UTC)True, about there being no new canon and fewer new fans. Though I gotta say, my last fandom was Jem, a show that lasted for 3 seasons in the 80's. The last new ep was aired in 1988 and since then there has been nothing -- no movies, comics, books nothing. And yet it does still have a small fandom, 20 years later.
Well, I guess that says it all. Sooner or later the FF fans may also dwindle to that number.
