Something very cool happened today. My boss texted me to say that on Monday - which was to be my first day back after 9 weeks - none of the rest of our team will be in the office. So she "ordered" me to stay home and use it as one more day off! How cool! Now I gotta take one more look through my sabbatical lists....or just stew on it for a while...and figure out what I want to do with the gift of one more day. Nothing is jumping out at me right now. I did everything I wanted to during the past 9 weeks, and nothing is calling on me for a repeat visit. Hmmm. 

As for today, I had a hair appointment to get it dyed again, and I got my eyebrows waxed. I revisited the restaurant Native Foods and loved it as always. Lush is near there so I got some toothy tabs from Lush. 

Oh, and I watched the 3rd ep of the new Star Trek and...I guess that's it that's been released so far? Dang, I gotta wait. Oh, isn't there a new mutant show out??

Now back to thinking about what to do with my bonus day off!

Woohoo, binge watching! The answer to all the questions! Glad you got a surprise extra sabbatical day. I have been reading this as you post them, just can't think of anything interesting to say. You have such a cool job, dude.

Thanks for reading my entries! I admit my journal isn't all that thrilling, so I thank you for reading it. And I totally agree, I really have a great job and great boss.

Nah, I think it's good that you keep track of your daily stuff on here. It's not how I run my journal, but that's because my daily stuff doesn't inspire me to write anything down? I dunno. I like lists.

Anyways, how is the new Star Trek? It is on my list to check out, just haven't gotten the chance yet.

So awesome to get a bonus day! Yay! I'd say either do whatever was your favorite thing, or just take a day to relax and do nothing :) Any chance Doris could come home early?

I can't think of what that new mutant show is called but I know what you're talking about. I don't know why Rollin and I can't manage to keep up with the tiny number of tv shows that we actually watch (probably because CNN or MSNBC or the NFL Network are always on)

I know, it's awesome to get 1 more day! I don't want to ask Doris to come home early or anything; she has taken several days off so we could go on our 3 trips, and doing so was probably harder for her than she'd want to admit. (Her business still is not doing great.) I checked the food pantry schedule and the only available shifts are ones I'm not trained to do or ones my car isn't big enough for. Maybe I re-hit Women and Children First, I mean that has always been my favorite!

I think it's The Gifted. Actually GOOD for you two for not being able to keep up, it must mean you're doing things other than watching TV. I do think I'll watch The Gifted soon, I just gotta figure out how. Looks like neither Amazon or Netflix has it.
