2. And I definitely passed a milestone in my life. I've written about this before, but after 22 years of working in the same suburb, today was my last day there. Tuesday I'll take the train to Chicago and work in our new headquarters in the city. End of an era for me - and I'm so excited!
And good god in heaven....I just can't believe I was there since 1996. I've worked in 3 different buildings in our (old) headquarters in the 'burbs. I started in one building which I'll call C, then was moved to P, then to H, and then back to C. Made it full circle. Hardly anybody who was there when I started is still there. My first boss (who was great) died of cancer back in 2007. End of an era.
