1. I walked to the el this morning on my way to work. The weather was perfect, not humid, maybe 63. It's really a fun walk when there's good weather

2. It's been almost a week since my coworker Diane got let go. I gotta say that I'm getting the hang of her job and feeling much better about it (handling the workload) than last week

3. Yesterday was nice. We did Oak Park's garden walk, and were lucky to have had good weather for it.

Was Diane the one who was supposed to go on sabbatical? That would be disappointing.

When the weather has been nice recently, it's been fabulous

Well, Diane's sabbatical was added onto her severance pay so she was taken very well care of. Not to mention the fact that her boss has been telling her for 2 years that she needed to improve her performance. (And that really all Diane had to do was be nicer to Erin and to our vendors and she likely wouldn't have lost her job!)
