1. It's freakishly warm in Chicago. Today was like 43 and sunny. I actually walked home from the el today. Also tomorrow's supposed to be great as well, and tomorrow is Saturday. I think I'll take a trip to Women and Children First!

2. The NYE party was so much fun! We played a ton of great boardgames. And I learned that I am truly best if I have NO booze. (Keeping it to just 1 drink doesn't do it. I'm best with none)

3. Two days ago I went back to work, and I liked and appreciated it. I get why not having a job can be associated with depression. On top of the obvious (like, no money), it can be hard not having something to do. It was just so good to get up on January 2 and have a mission, have a place I needed to be.

We had an awesome time at game night. here's hoping Saturday is just as fun!

I feel like if I had the financial means, I'd be happy never working again ;)

For me, I think the only way I could be happy never working is if I had a mission. I'd have to do something like fill 2-4 days a week with volunteering or something like that. Even my sabbatical would have been boring if I hadn't made lists (fun lists and chore lists) of stuff to get done!!
