I really need to get better about posting. I try to stop to think about gratitude even if I don't post on it too often anymore. 

Um, so everything's fine with me. Work is good. Had a good call with my financial planner.

Doris and I had a nice Wisconsin trip over the weekend. The AirBnB (a loft above an actual barn) was cozy. There wasn't much to do in the area though, but it was fun if you're good with packing a cooler full of food, board games, DVDs, books, and just having a get-away with your sweetie. There was a firepit outside and the weather cooperated, so Doris built a fire and made smores. 

Going to a climate strike on Friday. Did some petitioning for Marie Newman. Need to do some more. As part of her birthday gift to me, Doris is going to go canvassing with me - not till October though, since it's the next Saturday we'll both have free.

Turned 46 yesterday, got lots of nice cards, gifts, and well-wishes.

Still loving fandom, still writing fanfic (17,000 words!), still wishing for more reviews. But 3 people told me they enjoyed it so that's good. Another person liked my meta post today.

Having lunch with Eric on Saturday, and then on Sunday we're celebrating my father in law's birthday.

My dad's health is pretty good.
