stormkeeper_lovedorisOoops haven't done one of these since Dec 29.
1. Well, here's a big one. It's Friday, and this morning, Doris asked me "Are you working from home today?" I said yes and she said "So am I." I'm like wut, you never work from home. (She's a dentist. Can't really do too many root canals via webcast). Apparently all but 2 of her patients canceled (not good), so she rescheduled them for another day and decided to stay home and do paperwork/accounting/tax stuff. It's just been so nice to hang out with her, working together at our dining room table. And we went out to lunch something which we literally can never do during the regular work week.
2. Also the lunch we went out for was great. We went to the veg restaurant Munch. I think I've had everything on their menu but then I saw something new - poblano jackfruit tacos - and they knocked my socks off!
3. Posting the first chapter of my new fic tomorrow!

Date: 2020-01-13 05:39 pm (UTC)Nice to get to work together from home! And fun to get to go to lunch too! Rollin and I were supposed to go to lunch while I was at work a couple weeks ago but he forgot and then asked if we could go at 3. I was like uh, no? Even I don't eat lunch that late!
