1. Got my tax refund. I used big chunks of it to donate to candidates working for social justice, and to social justice organizations.

2. Went to my first massage since early March and I needed it so badly. I thought it'd be uncomfortable with the mask on but it wasn't. When everyone enters the place, they take our temps and have us sanitize our hands.

3. I ordered 2 new books, this time from Better World Books. I'm down to 7 books at home, and I'm currently reading an e-book. My library has been vague but it sounds like they're going to slowly open in mid-June for curbside pickup. I wish they'd be a bit more specific?

4. My weight was awesome at this week's weigh in!

5. My new fic is at 7500 words. Didn't write much the past few days but then it flowed out today. Someone left a nice Ask in my Tumblr with complements about my fic.

6. And on the episode of The 100 that aired Wednesday, my OTP got a little bit of screentime! They had a scene together, talked and held hands. One of them is struggling with the death of another character and is in a bad place. It was nice to see that the scene got some good reactions on social media. Hypable wrote...

Jackson and Miller have both been given scraps for years – and made a hell of an impact with those scraps, in my opinion – and I’d love to see them get something more substantial, before the end.

You said it! Better World Books donates books and money to non-profits. A lot of the books they sell are used (when you place your order, you will see if the book is available new or used or both, and you decide). I like them a lot.

And of course Chicago's feminist institution Women and Children First is happy to ship books too!
