- The fanfic writing is flowing!

- Latest issue of Poetry magazine arrived in the mail

- Glad to just have the time to cook, and the ability to go to the grocery store and buy nearly any ingredient I want. So few humans in history have had the chance to do so (and sadly, I doubt many will in the future)

- Some fan stuff to be grateful for. Earlier in the week, a producer posted on Instagram a "cast announcement" for his project, and the cast announcement was Sachin! This is the same project I mentioned earlier. I just wish I knew more of how the industry works. Like....would the producer have posted this on social media if he wasn't fairly sure it was happening? Especially since it was a 'cast announcement'. I don't know, but I will take it as a decent sign?

- And also, I'm going to take another moment to be grateful for Sachin on Cameo. The moment I saw his IG post announcing that he'd joined it and was donating the proceeds....the moment in his first Cameo to me where he said I was the one who inspired him to actually do it...and the Zoom call that he initiated for the 2 of us!! Still all amazing

Ooo I didn't know you got poetry magazine, how are you enjoying it?

I was thinking just the other day about just how many options we have from around the world, spices and specialty items, etc., and so many you can just run to the local market and pick up.

Pretty exciting about the cast announcement! On one hand, I would imagine they wouldn't post it unless they were pretty sure it was going to happen, but maybe it's also to help drum up interest? Is it a show or a movie or something else? My friend Anna has a son-in-law who tried to get into acting for a while, and he even got to film a pilot, but they more or less told him that if the pilot actually got picked up, they'd probably recast his character to someone more well-known than him (but he was also completely unknown).

Really nice that you've gotten to have fun interactions with Sachin! Is his time on Cameo going to be limited since he's donating the proceeds?

I love Poetry magazine. I discovered it when someone left a bunch of issues in a Little Free Library, and I've been hooked ever since.

Good point on the cast announcement - it might really be nothing more than a ploy to drum up interest. And you are right; even IF this gets picked up, his part could be recast or dropped or any number of things. I wonder if he got paid for filming the pitch.

Sachin hasn't said if or when he might stop doing Cameo. Fingers crossed he sticks with it.

I will say that I don't think they'd announce him as a cast member to drum up interest if they planned on replacing him. He might not be the biggest name, but he is not an unknown. And I do feel like with all of the networks making original programming, it's not quite as hard as it once was to get something off the ground. Did they mention who they're working with or expected release dates or anything? Fingers crossed!

And hopefully he'll stick with Cameo for a while. Or at least if he's planning on leaving, hopefully he'll make an announcement.
