Fanfic happiness

Just gotta post this. I posted chapter 3 of my fanfic on Sunday. Later on Sunday, my friend F (aka Mia) left another beautiful, long comment. She was the only person who had commented on it to that point, and I expected her comment to be the only one I'd get. So I appreciated that it was so detailed. 

Then on Monday I woke up to 2 new comments from 2 different people! One was very short and focused on a small detail in the fic, but hey it was positive so whatever. The other was longer and also very nice.

And then later on Monday (which is today), my friend P left 3 great comments! What a wonderful fanfic day!!

Plus the writing has been going great the entire week. I have 2 more full chapters that are to be posted. I will be sad to finish this one up, but it's getting close to completion. 

I love giving Sinclair a central role in this fic. He's a very popular character in the fandom and everyone seems to love him, but he's never focused on in fics. Usually when he's in them, he's like an uncle or foster father to the characters, especially Raven. That's true to his role in canon, of course. I've been giving lots of good air space to his mentor-like relationship with Raven and I like it.
